Why Stonewool?

Energy Efficiency
Fire Resistance
Sound Insulation

While volcanic basalt and dolomite stones, which are inorganic raw materials and slags, are melted with the help of high-calorie coking coal, relative iron is resolved. Then it is turned into fiber by means of 1400-1500°C melt (lava) centrifugal force and air. To this composed fiber, organic binder is applied in order to develop its mechanic and physical characteristics and maintain its dimensional stability. The fiber collected on conveyor by the help of a vacuum is laid on the production line in a way oriented in upright position, based on pendulum system.

The thickness and density of the rock wool is fixed in a drying-oven by polymerizing thermoset binder with hot air. After the automatic shearing of the plates, they are packaged and stocked.
